What is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is a multidimensional treatment designed to restore, maintain and make the most of a patient’s mobility, function, and well-being. Physiotherapy helps through physical rehabilitation, injury prevention, health and fitness.
This physical therapy is mainly recommended, and often prescribed by doctors, to people affected by injury caused by an accident or sport injury, as well as those recovering from an illness, surgery or a disability.
The main work of the Physiotherapists is to get you involved in your own recovery through a set of assisted treatments (manual therapy), movement and exercise, education and advice.
