Yen Chong

Since training as a Zen Shiatsu practitioner at the London College of Shiatsu in 2003, Yen has been practising the healing art of Shiatsu for almost twenty years. Prior to this, his passion for Chinese medicine led him to train in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture in WellCare Acupuncture, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2002.

Having also worked in rehabilitation clinics in Hammersmith and Charring Cross hospital, Yen is particularly experienced in musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries. His goal is to offer the best level of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and Shiatsu massage therapy to patients by directly treating musculoskeletal (MSK) body aches, injuries, joints and pains. It has been proven that applying regular Shiatsu to affected body parts improves blood circulation and brings about a faster and long-lasting body healing process.

Yen is currently studying for his Master’s degree in Integrative Healthcare at the Centre for Integrative Medicine in Bristol. He also holds a black belt in Kung Fu (Wushu) martial arts. Yen is also a member of the British Association of Stroke Physicians and a registered practitioner of the Complimentary Therapies Association (CTHA)
